Cupid is a gentle, sweet, 14+ year old kitty who came to us with a tumor on his ear and the early stages of renal failure. We removed his
necrotic ear and give Cupid fluids a few times a week and he seems happy and stable for now. Cupid spends most of his days laying about napping and hoping for the next guest to come in and spend some time petting him.
To sponsor Cupid go to our donations page and put "Sponsor Cupid" in the "on behalf of" section. We will contact you with further details of your sponsorship.

Elliott pees inappropriately and sprays without care. Sadly, this makes him a permanent resident. To sponsor Elliot go to our donations page and put

Felix is a sweet, 12 year old (est. DOB 2/97), DSH, white and brown tabby, FIV+, neutered male. Felix is a dear old boy, friendly and outgoing.
Felix has out grown his kitten hood and besides laying on your lap, his only agenda is to find a comfy place for his next nap. Because he's FIV+ and an old
man, an indoor only home would be best. Won't you please give this stately gentleman a place to nap out his golden years?
To sponsor Felix go to our donations page and put Felix's name in the "on behalf of" section. We will contact you with further details of your sponsorship.

Giles is a handsome, neutered, 1 year old, (est. DOB 3/08) DSH, black and white tuxedo male who came to us on 3/8/09 from the San Jose Animal Care and Control. Giles is a friendly, outgoing, lover of a boy who adores having his bum scratched and to rub himself against you. He likes to help you in the office and will happily type for you. Giles is very friendly with other cats and an active kitty all around. He has pretty serious flea allergies and will pull his fur out around his bum if he gets even one flea bite. We think he does this when stressed too. Giles would really love to fin his forever home soon.

Gretchen is a 2 year old, Maine Coon mix female who originally came to us from Los Banos Animal Shelter in December of 2006 at 6 weeks old. Gretchen has had a tough time since then. She first owner passed due to breast cancer and her second owner entered a convalescent home. Gretchen has gotten over the trauma of being returned to the shelter and is ready to meet her new forever home. She would likely do best in a home without dogs or children under five. She is an excellent lap cat and very friendly.

Kiba is a gentle, sweet, neutered, front paw declaw, short haired Scottish Fold, male. Kiba is a wonderfully affectionate guy who came to us on 9/22/09 from the Kings County Animal Shelter. We were told Kiba was a 5 year old, spayed female. Kiba shocked us all when we went to give him his exam before his dental and discovered he was an older neutered male, around 10 years old, we think. Kiba
was very skinny and need of TLC. But since his dental he's shown that he's a great eater though and especially loves the treats he's given nightly. He's
gained weight and is looking great. He would love to be an only kitty. To sponsor Kiba go to our donations page and put "Sponsor Kiba" in the "on behalf of" section. We will contact you with further details of your sponsorship.

While his buddy Josh loves to be picked up and held, Matthew just wants a safe place to snuggle and call home. He loves attention, but is really unsure about the world he's found himself in. Matthew came to us on 1/8/09 from the Oakland Animal Shelter after his owner died shortly afterward, his companion kitty of 10 years, Josh, passed away from renal failure. Matthew lives at the Feline Well-Care Clinic and can be visited there.

Mogwai was born (DOB 2/14/08) with multiple birth defects and was unable to defecate on her own when she was brought to us. After four surgeries, (nearing $3000) which included the removal of her anal glands and tail, in addition to loads of love, medicine and care, Mogwai is now a ball of wild, energetic, furry love. She can be found zooming madly about the shelter or sleeping soundly in a corner. Mogwai loves to be held and will become a limp purring fur ball in your arms when she's cradled like a baby. Mogwai is still growing and we have concerns that she may yet need more surgery before she's fully grown. As it is, she requires daily medication to keep her healthy, as well as regular bum cleanings to keep her from becoming blocked.
To sponsor Mogwai go to our donations page and put "Sponsor Mogwai" in the "on behalf of" section. We will contact you with further details of your sponsorship.

Rebecca is a petite, spayed, black and white, semi feral girl who has been with us since she was six weeks old. Rebecca came to us from SJACC on 10/14/07 with her siblings Rafe and Ramona. Even as a kitten Rebecca had no interest in people. She's been in foster care a few times with little change.
Rebecca would do best in a home where she had little contact with people, perhaps a barn. We don't know that she would know how to take care of herself outside though, having been with us her whole life. A safe outdoor enclosure might be best for her.
To sponsor Rebecca go to our donations page and put "Sponsor Rebecca" in the "on behalf of" section. We will contact you with further details of your sponsorship.

Tandori is a very thin, spayed, Flame Point Siamese mix girl who came to us on 5/9/08 from the Los Banos. Tandori is very friendly and loves to be petted and cuddled in your lap. Tandori is much skinnier than her ideal, and while she came to us that way, we think any home who takes her should be aware that she'll need some TLC.
We've removed her Thyroid and Tandori is gaining weight and looking better everyday. We're not sure about her age, she looks old but it may just may due to poor weight as her teeth are in good condition. We're guessing she's anywhere from 12 to 15 years old. She's very friendly with people and tolerates other cats but may do best as an only kitty. To sponsor Tandori go to our donations page and put "Sponsor Tandori" in the "on behalf of" section. We will contact you with further details of your sponsorship.

Tuffy is a handsome,
6 year old (DOB: 4/02), neutered, DSH, orange tabby and white tuxedo,
FIV+/FeLV- boy. Tuffy came in to us in need of entropion surgery on
both eyes because his eyelids turned in and scratched his eyes. We've
since fixed that and this sweet boy is ready for a forever home of
his own. Tuffy loves to show his love and appreciation for any attention
you're willing to give him. He's a bit of a drooler, but with his
sweet nature, it's easy to over look a little drool. To sponsor Tuffy
