Our Resident Cats
Our Permanent Residents can always use a loving Sponsor(s).
In addition to the wonderful, healthy and adoptable cats we take in, the Nine Lives Foundation
also rescues cats from California shelters who are not terribly adoptable because of illness, old age,
medical or behavioral problems or special care needs. If not for the Nine Lives Foundation, these cats would not have a home and the chance of living a quality life. At the shelter, these cats are cared for and loved and are permanent residents. If you cannot have any (more) cats in your home, or love cats but are allergic, please consider sponsoring one (or even two) of these special cats.
To sponsor any of our cats, click on the DONATE NOW link and put "Sponsor __________" in the "Donation Dedication" section. We will contact you with further details of your sponsorship.

Faith is a gorgeous, spayed young black Manx. She's very affectionate and outgoing. She has moments of incontinence and will pee & poop without plan.. Stephanie Ferneyhough is sponsoring Faith in memory of Trifolio.
Fannin is a goofy, sweet neutered tuxedo, Manx and thrives on hugs and kisses. Unfortunately, he has Manx Syndrome and has anal incontinence, Melissa Lok is sponsoring Fannin.
Felix is a sweet a dear old boy, friendly and outgoing. Because he's FIV+ status & age, an indoor only home would be best. Please give this stately gentleman a place to nap out his golden years?
Giles is a handsome, friendly, outgoing, lover of a boy and is very friendly with other cats He has severe flea allergies so flea control management is imperitive.
Gretchen is a beautiful Maine Coon mix whose owner passed away. She is ready for a new forever home and would likely do best without dogs or children under five. She's an excellent lap cat.
Mogwai was born with multiple birth defects and was unable to defecate on her own. After five surgeries, (nearing $4000), she is now a ball of furry love. She requires extra daily care & regular bum cleanings.
Panda is a n older Manx/Siamese mix. He has constipation and intermittent incontinence so needs regular enemas under anesthesia, subQ fluids to help with his constipation, & regular baths.
Rebecca is semi-feral who has been with us since she was 6 wks old. Even as a kitten, she had no interest in people. She would do best in a home where she had little contact with people, or a secure outdoor enclosure.
Scotty is an older tuxedo boy who was liviing with a URI on the Stanford campus. After treatment, he's thrilled to have a safe & warm place to spend the winters.
