Dear Friends of the Nine Lives Foundation,
We are happy to share that the first Valentine's Day Adoption Faire & Open House, held on February 10th & 11th at our newly renovated shelter and low cost spay/neuter clinic, was a fantastic event.! While our goal was to adopt out the cats, we also wanted to emphasize to people that 3016 Rolison Road in Redwood City is now the new location for the Nine Lives Foundation low cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinic.
Thanks to our wonderful and dedicated adoption counselors who are always there to help 19 cats were adopted during that weekend. A huge thank you has to be given to all who donated the drinks and goodies, and to those who came to help with the event. We could never have done it without you!
In addition to cat adoptions, we raised $4,300 between donations, items purchased and raffle tickets. The raffle prizes were kindly donated by the following Nine Lives Foundation friends:

Special thanks goes to our visitors who brought 126 cans of cat and kitten food, bags of treats and cat toys. We were also happy to welcome our guests from Homeless Cat Network who apart form making a monetary donation, brought a bag of fleece blankets for our kitties.
We were extremely glad to see a lot of new people who were enthusiastic about helping Nine Lives Foundation by either signing for the recurring donations, volunteer orientation or dedicating their time and skills. We are very grateful to you and hope to see everybody again next month during the St. Patrick's Day Adoption Faire & Open House that will be held on March 17-18th at the Rolison Road shelter.
