Wishlist

It's easy to help the shelter by shopping for supplies that we use every day! Nine Lives does not receive funding from any city, state or government agencies so we must rely on private donations.  Your gifts of cleaning supplies, food, blankets and kitten formula just to name a few, enable us to use more of our limited resources to provide medical care, spay/neuter services and vaccinations for our cats and kittens.

We have an extensive list of supplies on our Amazon Wishlist that is updated regularly as our needs change.

When shopping online, you can have the items shipped to the Nine Lives Clinic, or drop them off yourself.  The shipping address is:

3137 Jefferson Ave

Redwood City, CA 94062

Please do not ship items to the Adoption Center, as there is not always staff there to receive them.

Our Most Needed Supplies:

  • We always need Gerber baby food - Turkey, Chicken or Ham.

    • This is a staple item not only for young transitional kittens but also for sick cats and kittens in need of daily medication. During kitten season (March through October) we use an average of 120 jars per week! The Gerber brand is preferred as it does not contain any onions or garlic which can be toxic to cats.

  • We are always in need of cat & kitten canned food as well as kitten dry food. Our shelter is currently on the Science Diet shelter dry food feeding program so we are unable to accept other dry adult cat foods.  We do however have increasing demand for kitten dry food for our foster kits

    • Fancy Feast pated canned food

    • Friskies pated canned food

    • Purina ONE Smart Blends Healthy Kitten dry

    • Royal Canin Mother and Baby Cat dry and canned

  • Metal & Ceramic Cat Bowls for food and water

  • Linens and Towels

    • We accept old or new towels, flat sheets, and fleece blankets. We are unable to accept heavy blankets and comforters as they are difficult to wash and dry properly.

  • Paper towels and Chlorox Wipes are also desperately needed everyday to help us keep our shelter clean and germ-free!
